Yours of the 10th rec'd, tho tardy accept congratulations. Hope we will all be together next birthday.

Syd was up to see me and I down to see him. I am having him transferred to my unit as they may break up the machine gun section. Our unit is now at Remy near Arras so if you have a chance run up. We are right at the track. Let us know a day or two ahead if possible but anyhow come when you can. I would look you up, but believe me I had some time finding Syd but looking for you would be worse.
