Dear Sis,

Just a line to thank you for the parcel which I have just recieved, it had been opened but do not think anything was taken. You could not have sent me anything better. I am very pleased to hear that you are getting on so well, dad wrote me the other day and seemed delighted with the way you and the other gents were getting along hope you will be able to continue. I believe I wrote you last time that I had seen Eric. Leslie I suppose will soon be over here, if you see him before he leaves tell him for me not to be in any hurry to get over here till spring. I believe that black berry pie you were talking about would be very nice but as I have forgotten the taste of pie it does not make me envy you but hope that when I get back I may soon acquire the taste again hoping this will find you well.
