Letter

Dear Mother:

Have only time for a note today as we are very busy as you know for we are moving ahead hand over fist and naturally have a great deal of work to do. Am sending some snaps today that I had taken while on leave. They did not turn out very good but better luck next time. Enclosed some which I would like you to forward. I intended to write a longer letter today but there was some extra work on hand and I had to go out in charge of a party. It is almost impossible to get letter writing done, as we have hardly a spare moment. However with things going as they are we don't mind work. Received letters and parcels from you in last mail. Many thanks. Will answer the letters next time. This is only a scrawl as it is late and I have to be out early. All well as usual. I am fine. Will write again in a few days. Now must say good night

Love to all, Harold
