Dear Emma

I just received a letter and two Posts that have been chasing me around. The first letter from you for some time, at that do not complain of not receiving letter as I answer all and often extra ones.

Glad Frank is back at school. Hope he will make the grade this year and that Bessie and Philip and all are happy. I expect they are grown. Spend 50 cents for some postcards of you all.

We have had quite a little snow lately, after passing the winter in England with practically none. It is exceptional, the grass is green and spring flowers are coming out and today has a faint hint of spring. It freezes every night and is nearly freezing during the day. Under canvas in this climate is unpleasant.

Can only talk of personal matter in these letter but you can be as profuse as you like.
