Dear Wife

Just a line to let you know I am well and hoping you are the same and that I received your dear kind letter the first one from your new adress I do hope you like it all right how is Mort and how is he getting along. I am so glad to know that little Mary is well again

I cannot understand you not getting my letters but I expect one must have gone astray because I have been writing you regular. I expected to have my photos from england that I had taken while on leave but I have not got them yet, so I thought I would write you a few lines and I will send you the photos as soon as they come I wrote Ethyle yesterday she was Complaining that she had not heard from me for such a long time and I promised her one of my photos so I will send them to you dear and you can send her one or give her one

Well my darling the situation is looking much better now and I think if every then goes alright the war will soon be over The weather is Ideal and I am doing all right at present dear now I think I will close trusting you are all well Good be an God bless you all
