Dear Mother:

Received your letter dated August 18. Any day now I expect to hear how Jean did in her biology. I've got my fingers crossed.

I'm going away tomorrow. I hear them playing "Life in the Ocean Wave" under my window.

Dad has certainly piled up the mileage on that Plymouth - sorry I was never home to drive it.

Very sorry about Kenneth Keith, but I have had no further word at all.

Would like to see you all again, but that won't be for some time. - Is the old radio still in commission or have you a new one?

Lots of love

Bill
