Dear Dad,

Hope you had a good holiday at the Coast. I suppose you are now getting ready for a fresh assault on the road.

No cigarettes have as yet arrived from home - you must pick the wrong ships!
Working hard here and having a very interesting time. No idea what my next posting will be. Glad to hear that Jean is such a competent car driver. It will nearly be time to put the garden in by the time you receive this letter.

Write often and pick better ships to send the cigarettes in!
