Dear Mother & Dad:
Dad's letter of April 7th I received some time ago and also one from Uncle Ross written on same date. They also sent a box consisting of nearly everything - pickles, fruit, chewing gum, chocolate, etc. and Aunt Adelene sent a pair of hand knitted white socks. I have sent a letter thanking them.
You might shoot them a line with my regards - but don't send me anything - the submarine control is not in force!
Glad to receive clipping re Sq/Ldr Gordon - how can one man be so good? -Wizard chap.
I don't know this game of Chinese checkers.
