Dear Mother:-

I am writing you and enclosing our regimental paper issue for Easter. It is raining now and we are laying in.

Dad was up to see me yesterday. He was inquiring after Syd's transfer but it is hanging fire as the colonel is at present away. Syd is not very well looking and seems to be pretty well fed up. Dad looks quite a lot older as he is greyer.

Well dear I am feeling first class myself and am just going to roll in as I am expecting to be out all night, hence the scrawl.

You want to be sure and send me some photos of Art and wife as well as some of your own and the kids.

Love to all

Jack
