1961 No [?] Regina 25/3/18 My Dear Ivy, A few lines to let you know we are All well and enjoying the good weather, but all Scared that we may have to pay for it a little later on. We are living in dread anxiety of any news that may come to hand through these trouble days. I hope you are keeping well, and not too hard worked. When did you hear from the boys last and what was the news. We had a letter from Russell and one from Eric but have not heard from Geo for some time except just a field card to Doose last week. Eric said our boxes had reached them at last, but Russ didnt mention them. He had not received the money sent him so I don't know what to think about it. I am setting a searcher out for it, but doubt it will not be successful. Next week we shall be busy moving again, and I hope we shall then be settled again for sometime. I am a little puzzled just now to know what to do about [?] [?] out. I had an interview with his teacher the other day, and I think he may go out on the 1st of April until the 2nd week in May then come back and review the years work, and the teacher thinks then he will have no trouble in in passing, and going to collegiate next year. The girls are wondering if you got the Photo of the birthday cake. It will not be very long now before your holdays come along, and after that your time will ship awg quick. How do you get along with the Army. I am enclosing Eric's letter, and a Captains note You can let me have them back please when you write. Have you any notion when you are likely to lave your holday. I must close for it is time to go to bed and I want to run up to the leader to see if any news fresh from the front I have been going up early morning & late night since this battle has been raging. Winnie is getting Sat next off so as to take a trip down to Grenfell from Thursdy night to Sunday night, God bless you. With Love from all, Your affectionate Dad F. W.
