Dear Mother:
I slipped up a little bit in answering your letters the last few days but I will get caught up now. We had a Victory Loan Parade here to-day and I got shanghied into it. The parade must have been about a mile long and I never saw so many people. I didn't think that there were that many people in Moncton but then I guess it is about all the excitement they have here. I bought a bond through the station here but I would like you to buy another one for me. When this one is fully paid for it will be sent to you so put in the safety box. I guess there is a coupon or so to clip on my last bond so you may as well clip them and deposit it to my account. I had a letter from Glenn and he said that he was writing his final exams and that he didn't know where he was going afterwards or if he was going to get leave. He is doing all right though so I expect you will be seeing him pretty soon.

I am sure glad to hear that you have got another car. To bad I am not home to break it in properly. I don't see any reason at all why I couldn't be home now but then you never know when you will be leaving. You seem to be getting right in class buying a Packard and all. I bet that will burn Aunt Grace up maybe she wi11 get poor Bill to buy another car or something. I guess Dave must be going to overseas or something when they are going to fix him up after ail this time. Has his brother gone Overseas yet or is hestill hanging around. I received your $5.00 just after I got paid so I really didn't need. I got the butter and the cup all right and thanks a lot for the easter egg. Jim Donaldson is no longer with me he left two days after we got to Halifax so I am now going around with another fellow from Montreal. "-- But his wife came down to visit him so he spends most of his time with her. I haven't received my laundry from Halifax yet but I have been expecting it any day now. Well I guess that is all the news for now and it is time for bed so I will close for now.
