My Dearest Jessie:

I just got your nice letter today. which was written Dec.17 I did not get your lat weeks letter you we have moved from Witley as I told father we are now in the 17th Bann. one of the first from Canada we have good huts here but not quite as good ground more mud. we will likely go in a draft soon we reinforce the 85 and 25 the 85 have not been quarantined since coming over. Just a [?] or two I have been writing once every week sometimes twice a week. hope you get them all I haven't got the box

Still looking after the lights in the Church. if you are you will have four hands full it's a funny thing they don't put a station master at [?]. We have a new Dr. ours went with the 85th I don't know how long we will be in this camp we will likely get nicely settled down and have to move I will be 22 years old tomorrow some old man. Well Jess. I don't think there is anything more for this time will likely write again Sunday. I don't know what to give you for my address
