My Dearest

Just a note to tell you that I am in dear old Blighty at last. We arrived in London to-night, & being Sunday I could not send you a telegram, or at least they said it would not be delivered until morning.

Also the pay office is closed so I cannot come until tomorrow. Shall leave here 10.10am arriving at Doncaster about 1.40pm. It is just my luck to be stuck here on a Sunday when everything is closed up. I am so disappointed I cannot come tonight. I am so impatient to be with you. We will have to make up for this lost day somehow. It is great to be in England again, but oh we seem to have made such a slow trip. Well Dearest, expect me to-morrow.

Good-night my Dearest
Lots & lots & lots of love & xxxxxxxxxxx
