Dearest Father:

Just got your letter Saturday was glad to hear from you. it was written March 29th. So you see I have been moving so much that I have not been getting mail got Jessies yesterday and one from Sadie well how are you all at home the wether is good here now just like Summer

Sadie said you had a nice horse you should have gotten an automobile nicer for Summer. I think Sadie said she thought she would go to Montreal for a while with Hed[?] if he stayed so John has gone back to Off musq [?] he will likely have his hands full of there I have'nt got the Picture of Mother yet, will be along soon though Spence is in the Hospital for a while with a slight wound in the head it was just a scratch Doug Burris had a card from him a few days ago yesterday and he told him to keep his mail he would be back in a few days so you see it wasn't bad he will have a nice rest it is pretty hard work just now I have'nt been in the trenches yet to bad about Ralph Rind all they found of him was his head and one leg. Munroe Lindsay got shot through the wrist I guess he went to Eng. he is lucky. I intended writing you two or three days ago but could'nt get any Paper it seems to be scarce here. Herb Reid has sure had bad luck since he came home I have seen all the boys but Grant and Spence am going over to see Grant tonight you ought to see our old house or it was a house once the Guns sure make some noise here. What is Mrs McFinn going to do now?

Well I guess this is all for now will write Sunday
with Lots of Love
