My Dearest Jessie:

Well I got your letter today and I have nothing to do tonight will try to write you a few to tell you the truth there is no news. I can only say that the wether is still fine Saw Melvine White tonight he tells me that Alex Logan is running around with some girl I dont know who it is and Bob McCurdy is going with one of the School teachers. these old men are fierce after the girls

How does Skinner like the Soldiering? you told me how Alf liked it. does he think he will get turned down a great big lad like him I should think when he would see Vic Hanna a slight fellow like him stand it I guess he ought to ashamed of him-self. I hope they keep him. I know Mr Guild must need him one of them on the Farm I think it is Georges Place. I guess a fellow has to be sick now before they will turn him down. Have any them been home since they were called up? do you think Gower will be called up? I hope he is not

You say Major Clark he was Capt when he left here is he really Major? I hope he goes up to see you. told me he would Sadie will see home anyway Poor old Ellen will disappoint her man out west but I think she is very wise to stay with her Father.

They have a tennis Court a short way from here but I have not been playing yet. Well I suppose the exams are all over and lonesome again well this is short but I guess I will say good-night. I got a nice Photo from a little girl I met in Scotland very nice little girl that does not interest you
