My Dear Jessie:

I am writing to Father today so will write you a few lines and put it in with his in answer to your letter received with Fathers yesterday. Very glad you liked the Photo. I had a letter from Vida yesterday asking me for one. I have one or two left so I might as well send it to her, although I think they have one of me.

Well how goes the fire? have they got it out yet? I suppose they have or the whole place would be gone by now What will Wallace get for that. I suppose you have your house cleaning done and Sadie will be home. You will be glad to see her. the news is pretty hard to scrape up here. How is Gower getting along? tell him he might write once in a while whether I write to him or not. I guess I will Say bye bye I may add some more before I mail this down.
