Dear Elizabeth:

Just a few lines to let you know where we are. We got here the 19th of Oct we had a dandy trip over but have had a lot of wet wether since landing it is pretty cold. this is one of the best days we have had. I had a letter from home the other day said Sadie was going to leave them the 16th that only leaves three home this winter. we have a good camping ground here. but we are in quarantine for the mumps now but expect to be out next week. we want to go and see Doug R. next Sunday. he is about 35 miles from hear. there are a lot of boys in England from home. I intended writing to you long before but I never got settled down to it before. we were up to London for a few days shortly after we got here it is some city and we had a good time while it lasted.

Well I guess I will say Good Night for his time
With Love to All
