Dear Mother.

your welcome letter of March 29 came in to-day and I shall answer it in a day or two. The Newspaper clippings made the heart tug a little faster when it mentioned the northerly migration of the wild Geese. Later on, the spring news of the mill pond was interesting news to the padre Mr. Roberts, you remember him well as he was the student Baptist in our congregration just after church union well to cut a long story short I asked him if his Name was "Roberts" and then we got talking. There was Svon [?] MacLean's Dr & Mrs Stewart etc etc. It was a visiting day for him and his territory is East Anglia.

You have perhaps noticed I have changed my rank and number again. One day I may even start to progress! The Harh-sou [?] continue to make their home a restful retreat and haven for everyone they can possibly entertain

Best of wishes and health to all
Be Happy
Vincent
