Letter
Scampton, Lincoln
Aug. 15, 1917
Dear Mr Metcalfe.
Arrived at camp last night after eight hours on the road. I am about four miles north of Lincoln at a town called Scampton. Received the three letters that you so kindly forwarded to the club and was certainly glad to get them. If any more mail comes for me I will be much obliged if you will forward it to 2nd Lt G. B. Irving R.F.C. 81 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, Scampton, Lincoln.
Hoping that this finds you well and with kindest regards to Esther,
I am,
Yours respectfully,
Gordon Irving
