Heavy rain. Went up the line riding with the General in the afternoon.

The Bde. join in a show with the Bde. on our right. In the evening after dinner the General went up the lines with only an orderly. His horse fell and he had his collar bone broken and a sprained ankle. The show was not very successful on our part but quite O.K. on the right.

General brought back in ambulance.
