Dear Mom & Dad:

The parcel with the noodles in it came through O.K. also the thousand cigs.

I am going on leave around the first of next week, so the thousand of cigs came at the right time. I expect to spend this leave up around the Midlands somewhere. All the popular spots in England are just crowded with Americans. J.C. was up to London last week-end and he had to sleep on a bench in Hyde Park. All the clubs were filled up. O yes! J.C. received a parcel the same time and did and it contained four packets of noodles. We figured that you must have told Mrs McQueen about the popular demand.

I am working in the office this week so will drop you a line befor I go on leave.
