Letter

August 26th 1916 Dear Father and Mother, Just a few more lines to you now. I have not got much time, but I will perhaps have less tomorrow. I was picked out in a draft for the 31st Battalion. We are going on Sunday that is tomorrow. We don't know where we are going. We may be going to another camp or we may be going to France. I am going to send a parcel up the same time as I send this letter. I hope you will get it alright. There are a lot of badges in it which I have had to take off. I promised one to [?]. You might give her one with the number on. This is only a short letter as we are having a big parade in about 5 minutes. I hope you are all well, I am feeling fine and my cold has almost left me. The old address will find me, until I send a new one. I think that my number will always be the same, but the Battalion will change. Well I will have to close. With love to all. Reggie.
