My Dear Saddie

We were all at the St. Lambert Station to see your dear boy off We just had time to wish him God speed + cheer him on his way. I know you + Sonney will feel badly.

But dear we all have our cross to carry. No matter how bright the past has been it comes to us all. At times it seems very heavy but strength is given us to carry the load although we feel his call for his Country keenly. Yet how proud we are to know that he has been able to respond to that call,

So cheer up dear girl + remember no matter how dark the clouds there is always a silver lining. I trust Rita is better + I hope you will all come over for a day + have Sonney come to tea.

With much love to all + if prayer + kind thoughts will help Bill on his way he will have a sure + speetie returm.

Lovingly Yours
Sister
