Dear Bill, -

Well it will not be long now - one more week after you get this. I'll have a nice camp for you with lots of wood etc so that you'll have nothing to do but fish etc - etc.

Bring a piece of bacon with you & a tin of coffee, that will be about all.

Fred Goodchild will get you some worms to bring if you let him know when you are coming. He would tell you all about the fishing etc. I hope he had a good time.

You will be glad to know that the "Ice Box" pool has come back- I caught my first fish in it yesterday (two nice ones) and this morning I got 3 nice trout & two jack spring salmon all of them over 14 inches - I'm catching a few every day.

Don't forget to let me know when to expect you; will it be Sunday? Will have supper ready for you.

Tordy sent me a tin of worms, at least I think it was him or Miss[Skill?]. Thank them for me. There are some bad fires up North yet & also down at Cowichan. There are a few humpies in the river now - but not many. Shall be glad to see you. Too bad about the Clee boys - have they given them up as lost?

I thought Tordy story about [Mirror?] was very good. Well good night Bill - will be seeing you soon.

Dad
