Dear Mother,

I suppose you are wondering why I have not written to you before, But I have waiting for my pay which I was to get on Mon. but haven't got yet. To-day I was transferred to the sig corp, but will be with the 95 Batt. I like it very much. I received my uniform quite a while ago. I also received the rest of my kit the other day such as deck shoes shirts razor towels pants and etc. I have had a sore throat lately but it is almost better now. I have not seen anything of the Jordan bunch yet. Bruce and I received a letter from Violet to-day. Love to all.

Your loving son
Jay.
