Dear Nellie:-

I will write you a short letter today as it will be likely the last I will address to you as Miss. I suppose you are all prepared for the big ceremony no, I am sorry I cannot be home when it occurs but I must do about Three weeks more [?] or I will starve this month when I am at College [?] it is mighty hard work and one really earns $ 5 per day. My wrists get sore and my fingers and hands so stiff. Am not certain yet whether I will go to Edmonton or Toronto. Haven't heard from Edmonton yet what is a definite answer is if I go to Toronto it will be in the Commerce & Finance Course and if I go to Edmonton the combined Arts and Law course.
It is raining today so I guess we won't [?] tomorrow. Am glad as I think I need a holiday. Don't neglect to send me an account of your wedding. Will do the same for you someday, when I get enough money to buy that "dark haired" girl a wedding ring.

Yours
FC
