My Dear Sister -

Well I am back to the battn now off leave, and I am having a hard time to keep away the blues, when I think of the good times I had at Paris. I wrote you two letters while I was there and I hope you got them all O.K. I am sending you a souvenir of Versailles, which I hope you will like. I saw all the places it shows and it is wonderful alright. please excuse this pencil but the pen has gone dry and I can't get it filled right away. I hope to get back to Paris again and see it in the summer. It is simply a wonderful place.

You asked what I would like you to put in my parcels, well those you have sent already could not be improved on. They are fine, and well packed too. Thanks for your consideration in asking me. There was two letters waiting for me from you when I returned from leave. I wrote to Aunt Frank tonight too. Well give my Love to all at Home & write often to

Your ever Loving Brother
Don

That gas I got last summer breaks out all over my body at times and makes it miserable for me, but aside from that I am feeling fine. Maybe I will get to hospital with it some day yet. It bothered me while in Paris. The change of food did it. I reckon. I hope you all are enjoying perfect health there at home. I only wish I could have a good skate with you this winter don't you. There is very little snow here at present. About tomorrow it will be raining again.

Well adieu for tonight
Yours ever
Don
