Letter

On Active Service Dear Uncle (Solomon) and Aunt (Maggie) Received your letter of March 21st and was glad to hear from you. I got a couple of letters from Home and one from Ona to-day. The weather here is quite good at present but it only takes a little rain to make it muddy. Well I suppose you saw in the papers the advance the Canadians made a couple of weeks ago. I saw some of the prisoner come in and I guess the papers give the right numbers allright. I am well and getting along fine at present and hope to be back in Canada by Xmas alright. I think I will close for this time. from Arthur
