Dear Nen:-

I'm still doing the rest cure business but will probably go back Saturday. Sunday being my birthday the doc. may let me stay till then as I've promised to give them a good old bust up but that remains to be seen.

I'm out of the chateau now and am in a Nissen hut which is as cold as it used to be at R.M.C. We got a stove this morning however and that keeps us good and warm and also heats our water in the morning.

It's been raining all this week and it sure is cold out. Fall is here all right but the leaves haven't started dropping off yet. It looks as though we were in for a real winter all right but here's hoping the mud doesn't get too bad.

I haven't been doing anything except read and play cards and croquet these last few days so there isn't any news to tell.

Best love to Dad and Ella.

Bev.
