Fri. Oct. 19 -

Still here. Not very comfortable. Stretchers used as beds and blankets lousey.
Temperature down now below normal so will be going right back. - At the guns, it was rather a strenuous day, the Huns showing much activity. They were called out on several S.O.S.'s and Huns shelled quite a bit in neighborhood of battery. We turned the position over to an Imperial battery and most of the gunners returned to the waggon lines at night.
