Fri. Apr. 6 -

Not as bright a day. This is Good Friday but would not know it in army. Roads thru the villages go bad rapidly under the heavy traffic which goes on night and day. A headquarters and red cross station being put up here at Camblain l'Abbé. The work is rushed thru and seems to go up in a night. Grooming and cleaning harness as usual. Our horse lines were moved up to a slightly drier place. Was on stable picket - had second shift 10 p.m. - 2 a.m.
