SomeWhere in France

Dear Ona & Levi, -

Just a line to let you know I received the bunch of Chronicles you sent to me, and thanks for the same. Well I got acrost the Channel safely.

I am well and feeling fine at present. Use this address in future letters -

Pte. A. C. Smith no. 739465

19th Canadian Battalion.

B.E.F. France.

I just wrote a letter to Mother and will write an answer to Ethel to-day. Expect to leave here to go up the line to-night. Well I am clothed well and got lots to wear so will not be cold. The weather here at the Base is quite warm. Just been here for one day.

Quite a few of the Old "B" company boys came over to France the same time as I did. I wrote a letter to you five days ago and some Home.
I think that this is all at present. Will write when and as often as I can so write soon

From Arthur
