Dear Uncle Sol.

Just a line to let you know I am well and getting along fine here at Present. Well I am on a Draft at present for the 19th Canadian Battalion in France so will be there long before you get this letter from me. I just got a letter from Steve and one from Home. Well I have a chance to get that five dollars now, but I won't put my self to any danger on my part to get it unless I have to as I don't worry much about money.

Well I am sending you a Picture of a ten shilling note which is half a Pound. The card has some reading on it. Well How are you getting along these days.

My old address will get me

so write soon

From Arthur.

P.S. will write as soon as I can after I get in France.
