Dear Mother:- I received your letter yesterday and was glad to hear from you. It was kind of lonesome to come back again but I guess they will work that off of us they certainly have made a good start at any rate. We have been kept pretty busy since we came back. Most of the Batt have been over Bombing every day since we came back. The ones that had taken a course did not have to go they were kept here and put at Squad Company. and section drill untill we wished the Col would drink himself to death

I guess it is style not to write on both sides so I guess I'll br stilish for once as there is not much more to tell. Another box of grub would come in nice if you could send it handy just some more little pies and a cake never mind any chicken it takes too much room just a flat box which would a doz. pies Wrap them in paper like before I expect we will be here untill next week so they will have time to get here. They are going to close the canteen on Tues so the grub will be scarce. I here we get ships biscuits to-day I saw one yesterday and took it for a turtle shell it was so hard Well good Bye for now.

Earl.

I am sending some snaps of the bombing trenches
