Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well hoping this letter finds you all the same my leg is all healed again and I expect to be out of hospital in a couple of weeks. You will see that I have been moved again they are moving us every where around except home.

We are having another spell of wet weather here now. Do you ever take time to write a letter I haven't had any for quite awhile.

Is any of the boys from around the settlement - home yet?

Well I think I will have to close as this is such a lively place there is now news.

Write Soon.

Good Bye

Allan.
