Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well and having a good time. We all have been quarantined since last Saturday but I don't know what it is for a lot of the boys have a bad cold and some of them have gone to the hospital. There are about 800 hundred German prisoners here I was out to see them last Saturday afternoon. There is lots of snow over here it snowed about 6 inches every night since we came over but its nice and warm in the day time. How did Charlie get along at Halifax. Well as we don't get out I haven't any news this time. this is the second time I wrote and got no answer.

Write Soon.

Good Bye.

Allan.
