Dear Mother:-

Received your welcome letter the other day and was glad to hear from you. There must be some fox thieves around then it will end in a big law sent with somebody I suppose. Well we are having awful wet weather here raining every day. We had an inspection here yesterday so all the Canadians are going to a Canadian Convalsce Home, so I expect I will be home in two or three months.

We had a fine time here Xmas. also news years Eve. the nurses and Sisters gave supper for the boys of course there are only about twenty four boys in this place it is an Auxillary Hospital being only for walking patients.

I sent a picture of the Commandant of the hospital today.

Well as news is scarce I must ring off for now hoping you are all well as it leaves me my leg being all healed up now but is weak
