Dear Mother:-

Received your most welcome letter to-day and was very glad to hear from you for I was looking for letters all week from home.

We are having great weather here now and the streets are getting pretty bare now they were using wagons around the town two weeks ago. You talk about streets been in a mess but its here you will see them some of them are concrete and the water has no chance to soak away.

We got paid to-day for the first time since we left the Island. If you don't soon get that money you want to look after it. don't leave it too long either.

Well I guess I will close for this time hoping you are all well as it leaves me the same.

Allan.
